Offshore Access Systems

By equipping our crew transfer fleet with bow fender systems that have been continuously improved in the past and that are especially adapted to the projects boat landing, we can already now provide an enhanced weather window for crew transfers, compared to our competitors.

Together with our development partner Momac we will already in the near future be able to provide an industrial robot based offshore access system called MOTS. A man basket stabilized through 6 dimensional motion sensors and attached to the six degrees of freedom arm of the robot, creates a significantly improved transfer situation during foul weather, when compared to conventional transfers. The system is currently going through sea trials and is expected to allow crew transfers up to a significant wave height of approx. 3 meters – Competing solutions only achieve this by using DP2 vessels in combination with a complex and heavy Ampelmann system or similar. Please contact us for further information or to schedule a MOTS sea trial at your offshore installation.
